A platform for scientific Progress

Dschang,UDs/SIC-02/03/22.The Dschang School of Economics and Management of the Post Graduate School of the University of Dschang kick started its scientific animation for the 2021/2022 academic year geared to offer a blueprint to scientific research for its Post graduate students from the 2nd -4th March 2022”.

Presided over by the Vice chancellor of the University of Dschang, Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso, had in attendance at the University Conference Hall, members of the chancellery board, lecturers of the Faculty and Post graduate students. Worthy of mention for this innovative idea is the participation of Private Institutes of Higher Learning under the mentorship of the Faculty of economics and Management through video conference among other scientific animation outlets.

During the opening ceremony which rallied over 200 students, the scientific coordinator of the Dschang School of Economics of Management, Prof Paul Ningaye highlighted the values of the scientific reopening and the tenets of the gathering.

The Dean of the Faculty of economics and Management Prof Wandji George in his speech stressed the objective of the scientific reopening emphasizing that the participation of PIHLs, Post graduate students and the World Bank was very vital for the development of the economy based on technology and innovation. He buttressed the fact that this platform was an occasion to give the students the necessary tools and armor to tackle research and improve on scientific production.

The Vice chancellor in his launching speech lauded the initiative  and urged students to make maximum use of the opportunity to brew themselves better in scientific research in thesis and dissertations while promptly adhering to the stipulated during for the Post Graduate cycle. The Programme for the activities slated for the 2nd to 4th include: roundtable conference on financial thesis research and co supervision of PhD thesis by Prof Fomba Benjamin and Nguena Christian –Lambert, moderated by Prof Ngameni. It will also include seminars on the Impact and Effect analysis By Prof Miamo and Prof Noula with General methods of Research presented by Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso. Day 3 will continue seminars on Qualitative and Quantitative research, research questions, problem statement, presentation and interpretation of results among others. Day 4 will include seminars on literature review, bibliography, examples of theses or articles and will be concluded by a conference presented by the World Bank
