UDs holds its 30 sessions for the Commission of Advancement

Dschang,UDs/SIC-28/10/22.The Commission for the Advancement and Reclassification of Non-teaching personnel of the University of Dschang, this October 2022 session held its 30 session at the Chancellery hall on 28th October 2022. This commission was presided over by the President of the commission and Secretary General of the University of Dschang, Prof Guy Mvelle MINFENDA. For this session, a total of 255 documents were treated as compared to 215 documents treated last year showing an increase of 16%. This session treated documents of staff on programmed for automatic advancement, exceptional reclassification and reclassification based on academic merit.

During the opening of the working session, the President of the Commission, Prof Guy Mvelle urged the 20 participants to use the platform in ensuring transparency in the treatment of documents. With the presence of the 20 members, comprising of those from regulatory and financial services as well representatives of MINESUP, MINFOPRA, MINTSS and staff delegates facilitated the progress of the 8point agenda of the day.

At the end of the working session, 66 documents of “Decisioners” received automatic advancement of echelon, 1 exceptional reclassification while 13 reclassifications document on merit were put on a hold for proper verification of financial stability and the VC’s approval. While for Contract workers, 140 documents were validated for advancement on echelon, 6 exceptional reclassification and 29 reclassification documents based on academic merit kept on hold for proper verification. This goes to show that through the proper management of Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso on key issues on staff advancement and development./
