Dschang-UDs-SIC-07/06/17: During the closing remarks of the ceremony, the VC, cited Mr NJIKAM Patric Abdel more than 6 times as an example worth emulating. The VC lauded his bravery, fearlessness, passion, team spirit and most importantly his leadership role during the UGames that just ended in Bamenda. This Basketball gladiator bridged the gap between the new generation and the previous golden generation, thereby inscribing his name in gold in the hearts of all sports fans. It should be noted that Mr Njikam had been embellished in gold for quite a very long time. Before being admitted in UDs in 2013, he had already raffled 02 gold medals in the FENASCO games (2011, 2012). This level 3 student in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science-UDs won his second gold medal in the University games with UDs (2016 and 2017) obviously inscribing his name with a golden pen in the annals of sports in UDs./MZR
