Academic activities onfold
Classes remain effective for students at the University of Dschang on this Monday, Nov. 10, 2025. From seven o’clock on the side of the Faculty of Science we notice the influx of students who come from all sides and rush to join the lecture halls. During this day of lectures, we also note that the students are seizing the opportunity to meet their lecturers, collect the timetables, begin to familiarize themselves with the content of the courses… The halls are thus full, releasing a palpable energy which in itself reveals the determination of the students to meet the challenges of the academic year that await them. However, lecturers are hard at work to ensure that students have everything they need to succeed in their academic year. Courses run on time and sometimes some courses are anticipated so as to be on schedule with the academic calendar.
Speaking off-Microphone, the Heads of Departments of Physics and Plant Biology reassured us that courses have been taking place without any problems since the start of the school year. For example, this Monday in the department of Physics, Level 1 students had their electrostatics course and those of level 3 had their electronics course. Meanwhile, those in Plant Biology Level 3 had physiology lessons. Students of Biochemistry Level 2 and 3 as well as physical level 3 students are scheduled for their bilingual training course this Tuesday, November 11, 2025.
To succeed in their academic year, students are arming themselves with courage, seizing all the opportunities presented to them, actively engaging in their studies and pursuing their passion with determination. It is therefore clear that courses are still effective for students at the University of Dschang despite the disruptions observed recently in the city of Dschang.
