‎The Head of State, H.E. Paul BIYA in his bid in ensuring the welfare of the Cameroonian students, today 6th November 2025 in Bafoussam donated two VIP Buses, one for the University of Dschang and the other for the Universite des Montagnes.

This applauded gesture received by the Rector of the University of Dschang, Professor Roger Tsafack NANFOSSO, the Council Chair of the University, Prof Paul Celestine NDEMBIYEMBE and members of the University community was under the auspices of the Vice Prime Minister, Jean Kuete. This 50-seater, air-conditioned bus with a toilet carries the colours of the university’s logo and the names of the districts of the Menoua Division and the villages of the Dschang district as such promoting republican integration.

‎To the head of the institution, Professor Tsafack Nanfosso, this gesture highlights the values of the Head of State, showing his attentiveness to the plight of the Cameroonian student. “It shows his paternity and solidarity to the cry and voices of the students. He has done what he had to do added to what he has already being doing. The need for an effective day to day mobility of students, non-teaching and teaching staff  is paramount. It will be needed when we have to go to the university games, national commission for the change of grade and the CHAZU. Our challenge lies on our effective management of this luxurious bus. On behalf of the university community we are very grateful for this gift received from the Head of State,” he stated.
