Inculcating seminar for 2021 budget launch

Staff of the financial chain encouraged to be more diligent in service delivery

Dschang,UDs/SIC-01/03/21.The University of Dschang in prelude to the launching of the 2021 budget organized an intensive one day inculcating seminar which gathered over 100 staff of the financial chain of the University of Dschang nationwide. During the launching speech of the Vice chancellor, represented by the Director of Administrative and Financial Affairs (DAAF/UDs), Prof Sylvie Wansi Lea admonished staff to be creative and diligent in service delivery so as to minimize occurring errors in the financial chain. 5 key exposes characterized the seminar with the first delivered by the Financial Controller of the University, Mrs Njoya Bernadette on the innovations on fiscal and budgetary law on finance for 2021 which indicated a slight increment in the budget of the institution, the values of optimizing resources, reduction of some taxes, and exception of manual receipts among other vital innovations. The second expose was on how to avoid the influx of files at the end of the financial year by Mr. Azangue Sauliére, scheduling Office head who highlighted the value of an imminent action plan and amelioration of the services and financial chain to avoid influx of files at the last minute. Mr. Jean Marc Djoda, Head of Budget and Material Service took the floor to expose on regularizing financial files. The 4^th and 5^th exposes were handled by Mr. Fegue Xavier Manga, Chief Accountant and Mr. Dieudonné Nguimfack UDs Stores Accountant who spoke on budgetary annuity and year-end operations and the Stores accountancy respectively. The exposes were intertwined with exchange and debate session which edified participants on the right manner to process and channel financial documents. At the end of the seminar a proper financial road map has been set to ensure proper service delivery during the execution of the budget./
