Selection workshop for еcоentrepreneurs for the Kimbi-Fungom National Park
The Vice chancellor of the University of Dschang informs the national and international university community about the organization of a selection workshop for еcоentrepreneurs for the Kimbi-Fungom National Park and its surrounding areas, as part of a competition for the best business plans. Candidates will present their projects through a 3-minute « pitch », which will take place on December 29, 2025, at CATI²-UDs. This activity is part of the implementation of the project « Enhancing the Resilience of Local Communities to Climate Change through Youth Entrepreneurship and Integrated Natural Resource Management in Cameroon » (ACREGIR), led by the Ministry of Environment, Nature Protection, and Sustainable Development (MINEPDED) and the International Network for Bamboo and Rattan (INBAR), in partnership with the University of Dschang. It aims to strengthen the resilience of local communities, particularly youth and women, to climate change through the development of sustainable entrepreneurial projects in the peripheral areas of the Waza, Bénoué, and Kimbi-Fungom National Parks.
