University of Dschang Holds Its 33rd Session

‎The University of Dschang has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the career development of its administrative personnel as the Commission for the Advancement and Reclassification of Non-Teaching Staff convened for its 33rd session at the Fotso Victor Conference Hall on the 14th November 2025.

‎Presided over by the President of the Commission and Secretary General of the University, Prof. Moïse Moupou, the session gathered With the presence of the 20 members, comprising of those from regulatory and financial services as well representatives of MINESUP, MINFOPRA, MINTSS and staff delegates facilitated the progress of the 9point agenda efficiently and with full technical rigor.

‎One of the major highlights of the 33rd session was the evaluation of the implementation of decisions from the previous meeting. The Commission proudly announced that the state of execution of the recommendations and resolutions of the 32nd session was analyzed at 100%, reflecting exemplary administrative discipline and dedication to staff welfare.

‎The Commission also examined and validated several categories of files submitted by non-teaching personnel. In total: 150 files were treated for automatic reclassification, ensuring proper alignment with qualifications and seniority. 10 files were processed for exceptional reclassification, recognizing merit-based cases and outstanding service with 6 given a favourable view.7 files were reviewed and no favourable view given for reclassification by title, concerning both decision-making personnel and contract staff guaranteeing that titles accurately reflect roles and competencies.

‎During the proceedings, Prof. Moïse Moupou emphasized the invaluable role of non-teaching staff in the University’s daily operations.

‎ “Our non-teaching staff are indispensable actors in the life of this institution. Achieving a 100% implementation rate and diligently treating all reclassification files reflects our commitment to recognition, fairness, and administrative excellence.”

‎In his closing remarks, the Secretary General delivered a firm reminder to all personnel.

‎ “Staff should not wait for the last minute to submit the required documents for advancement. Let us cultivate time consciousness and avoid irregularities that slow down the process,” he stressed, urging all employees to adhere to deadlines and ensure proper documentation.
