Promoting student and staff mobility from non-European countries

Dschang,UDs/SIC-12/12/18.The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dschang informs students and staff of the Erasmus + Programme for associated countries. This programme promotes student and staff mobility from non-European countries to European universities with European funding. In the case of staff mobility, the two possibilities are outlined below.

  • STA: Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignment- teaching staff  give 8 hours of classes in one week, or Combined STA- teaching staff give 4 hours of classes and combine with training and good practices.
  • STT: Staff Mobility for Training- teaching staff or administrative staff or technical staff receive training and learn good practices

In the case of Student Mobility, students in past projects have carried out a study period of one semester (in past projects 5 months per student were funded).

The funding for universities in Cameroon is distributed as follows:  

Students: 850 euros /month + 530 Euros for travel expenses

Staff   : 160 Euros /day + 530 euros for travel expenses. 

Applications are opened till February 2019 to include a small number of institutions as new partners in the programme. The information requested in the attachment is expected by email by the 5th January 2019.
