Steps towards professionalism between Dschang and Cologne

Dschang SIC/UDs -29/09/15. The working visit of the German delegation from the University of Cologne in Dschang was marked by the signing of a partnership agreement with the University of Dschang. The Conference Hall of the Rectorate which hosted the occasion which was presided over the Rector and had in attendance the representative of the German Ambassador to Cameroon. In his introductory speech, The Rector of the University of Dschang, Prof Roger Tsafack Nanfosso lauded this bilateral cooperation which began some years back and was now being formalized by the signing of the partnership agreement. He added that this was another occasion to scrutinize achievements and new avenues to be exploited.

Taking the floor, the representative of the German Ambassador to Cameroon, Mr Jonas Hans Joachim Wiesenecker expressed his delight to see the seasoned intellectuals of the University of Dschang at work .He remarked that from of all African students in German Universities the largest number came from Cameroon. The representative of the Rector of the University of Cologne, Prof Konrad Brockmeier said there is a wide range of fields to be exploited through this inter-university cooperation and that the Rector of the University of Cologne was quite committed to this being fulfilled/RN.
