Refers to a grant of 1 115 000FF given for the running of CRESA. The CRESA-Forêt-Bois is specialized in traning specialists in sustainable management of the forestry ressources and to better valorize the timber by transforming it on the spot. As such specialists are trained to master the management of the forests, the production, transformation and commercialization of timber.

Système d'Information Multimédia pour l'Environnement Subsahérien (SIMES)

This project aims at facilitating access by development actors to pertinent environmental indicators, providing a common information exchange platform to researchers and operational actors and enhancing transfer of research products to development. These objectives will be achieved through the realization of Web integrated toolbox for multimedia data acquisition and processing, and knowledge representation and diffusion. The toolbox can be seen as a generic multimedia environmental information system, available on Internet for each specific environmental development program to create its own Web server.

IRA concerning the project "Protection Ecologique du Niebe" PEDUNE

The project "Protection Ecologique Durable du Niebe" PEDUNE is a comprehensive research and development program to develop crop protection, agronomy and extension strategies which will lead to increased cowpea production in Cameroon. Emphasis is on participation of multidisciplinary teams working on diverse issues for the improvement  of and increase in cowpea production
